His plans are bigger than my plans

This weekend was Labor Day.  I had the perfect Labor Day weekend planned. I would do absolutely nothing, and I would have a great time doing it.

I found out today that this would not work.  My family was going to go somewhere, and that messed with my plans.  That pretty much ticked me off.  I wanted to do nothing, but traveling ruined my plans.

I then went to mow the grass.  While doing this, I realized how selfish that seemed.  My parents were planning something fun for me and all I cared about was how my weekend plans would be changed.

God used this in my life.  His plan for me isn’t  gonna be the same thing as my plans.
